Have a question? We have answers. if you don’t see what you’re looking for here, head to the Contact tab to get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
How much is your deposit and when is full payment due?
We require a 20% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding date.
How long will it take to get my video back?
We aim to deliver your film as quickly as possible while still giving it the care and attention it deserves. A wedding film takes time to thoughtfully edit and polish.
Your video will be delivered within 6–12 weeks after we receive your song selection form. In many cases, delivery is sooner depending on our current editing queue.
How do you use 2 cameras with only one videographer?
With years of experience, we’re comfortable working with multiple cameras solo. During live events like the ceremony or toasts, one camera is typically locked off on a tripod for a wide angle, while the primary camera captures close-ups and reactions. Multiple angles help ensure smooth coverage and a seamless final edit.
Why would I need 2 videographers?
Simply put, it’s hard to be in two places at once. A second videographer allows us to capture more moments and details throughout the day. During prep, one videographer can be with each partner, and during the rest of the day it allows for more coverage, faster setups, and more creative angles.
Can I have the raw footage?
Raw footage is available for a fee that covers the cost of an external hard drive and shipping. Our footage is all digital so we can transfer it to a USB external hard drive. All we ask is that you do not ask us to re-edit your final video based on your viewing of the raw video. Also, be aware that some footage will have a flat color profile, which is meant to be enhanced in post-production with color correction.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use professional cinema-grade 4K cameras, with DSLR cameras as secondary angles. This combination allows for both high image quality and flexibility throughout the day.
For audio, we use professional wireless microphone systems and dedicated audio recorders to ensure clean, clear sound. If you’d like more detailed specs, feel free to reach out.
How long are you there?
Rather than strict hourly limits, we focus on capturing the full story of your day.
Typically, coverage begins 2.5–3 hours before the ceremony for prep footage and continues through the end of reception formalities. Silver Package coverage begins 1.5 hours before the ceremony.
Once we’ve captured plenty of dancing and key moments, we’ll check in with you to make sure everything you wanted has been covered.
What’s included in the 30-60 Minute Feature Film?
The Feature Film is a documentary-style edit that follows your entire wedding day from start to finish. It includes all major moments, such as getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and reception events, edited into a cohesive film that reflects the full experience of your day.
Can you include footage that we give you?
Yes, we’re happy to include additional footage you provide, as long as all files are backed up before being sent or delivered. We are not responsible for lost or corrupted media.
How do video toasts work?
Video toasts (also called guest messages) allow friends and family to leave personal messages for you on camera.
We set up a stationary camera and microphone in a designated area, usually after reception formalities or during cocktail hour if logistics allow. Guests can step up and record a message at their convenience.
We do not record table-to-table messages during dinner, as this tends to be disruptive and often results in poor audio and video quality.
Do you offer Drone?
Yes, drone footage is available when permitted. Drone use is subject to venue restrictions and weather conditions. For best results, we recommend pairing drone coverage with an additional videographer to maximize overall coverage.
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes. We’re happy to customize packages based on your needs, including different film lengths and styles. Feel free to ask about highlight options or custom deliverables.
Will you film in my location?
Absolutely. We’re based in Akron and frequently work throughout Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, Canton, Youngstown, Sandusky, and surrounding areas. Travel within 100 miles is included, with a travel fee applied for locations beyond that.
