How much is your deposit and when is full payment due?
We ask for a $300 non-refundable retainer to secure the date in our availability. Full payment is due four-weeks before the ceremony.
How long will it take to get my video back?
We try to get your video back as fast as possible. However we also want to give your video the time and attention to detail it needs. A lot goes into putting a wedding film together. We can guarantee your video will be ready in 8-12 weeks once we get your song selection sheet. Many times we will get your video to you faster though depending on our queue.
How do you use 2 cameras with only one videographer?
With many years of experience we know how to man multiple cameras by ourselves. Typically during live events, such as a ceremony or toasts, the secondary camera will be stationary (on a tripod) getting a wide angle while the main camera will be focusing in on close ups and expressions. It’s important to have multiple angles for a fully flowing edit and to ensure there is no break in the action!
Why would I need 2 videographers?
It’s hard to be in two places at the same time. To ensure the maximum amount of footage, having a 2nd videographer helps capture all the details of the full day experience. During preparation you can have one with the bride while she gets ready and another with the groom. An extra videographer also helps with set ups, so we can spend more time with you!
Can I have the raw footage?
Raw footage is available for a fee that covers the cost of an external hard drive and shipping. Our footage is all digital so we can transfer it to a USB external hard drive. All we ask is that you do not ask us to re-edit your final video based on your viewing of the raw video.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use a professional cinema 4K camera with HD DSLRs as secondary cameras. These give us the highest quality video while also giving us the most flexibility. For audio, we use a wireless Audio Technica system as well as the Zoom H4n audio recorder. If you have any other questions please contact us for the full specs!
How long are you there?
We are not a fan of specific hours because every wedding is different. We just want to make sure we get everything you’d want to remember. We typically start 2.5-3 hours before ceremony start time for prep footage and go through the end of reception formalities. Once we have plenty of dancing footage, we’ll check in with you to make sure we got everything you wanted.
What’s included in the 30-60 Minute Feature Film?
The full-feature film follows all the events of the day. Everything is carefully edited into a movie that flows from beginning to end. There is a section for each of the day’s events from getting ready to the ceremony, then picture taking and everything at the reception. It’s designed to be the perfect representation of your whole day so you can relive your wedding forever!
Can you include footage that we give you?
Yes, we’re happy to include any extra footage you want to include in the video. Just please backup any files that are sent or given. We are not responsible for lost media.
